Incredible and rare playsuit from the 1930s in a larger size with tags still attached.
Backless halter that ties at the neck and has 4 buttons at the back of the waist.
Has a drawstring peekaboo opening at the center bust for aid in getting a more customized fit.
Lined in a white stretchy synthetic like material that’s soft and smooth.
Lining is attached to shell about the waist and is meant to fit a bit closer for modesty below the waist where it’s no attached to the shell. Lining is reinforced between the legs.
Outer fabric/shell is a soft, yet sturdy cotton in white with a royal blue design.
Original tag is still attached near the underarm. “John Wanamaker, New York”
This has very obviously not been worn even once. There are a couple of tiny pinpoint holes on the lining and one 1/2” spot where it looks as if the seam has separated where the lining attaches. No other flaws noted. This has not been washed and is quite bright. A quick soak and it will be utterly pristine. No stains. *please see pictures and feel free to message me with any questions.
