Vintage Thursday is a collection of vintage from the late 1800s to early 2000s. I sell what I love & I love a lot!

Every piece of vintage has a story, and it’s my joy to help that story continue.

Because I love so many different things, my shop isn’t “curated” in the typical sense. I’ll leave it to you to find a common theme, just know you may find most anything here. From Edwardian to the perfect 50s day dress to a 70s sundress to a vintage Banjara/Kuchi dress to a one of a kind opera dress. If I don’t love it in some way, I don’t sell it. My hope is you’ll find a piece that speaks to you that you love and will breathe new life into. There’s something special about a forgotten article of clothing or jewelry being restored and cleaned and made ready to be worn proudly again. Thank you for looking through my ever changing eclectic collection!!! Feel free to find me on Instagram @vintagethursday for more detailed pictures of my listings and what will be coming soon!

Perhaps it overly romanticizing things a bit, but I admit to being a sentimental fool at times about these special pieces that surpass all expectations we’re used to in modern times regarding the life of a garment. Sometimes the mends in a garment can be the most beautiful detail. Other times it’s a wonder how something a century old can look so fresh despite it’s delicate fabric, stitching, etc.

This is all part of what gives vintage it’s special appeal, whether it’s dressing head to toe in period perfect everything, or mixing it up with different eras or wearing something in a way not originally intended. The possibilities are endless,a new the beauty and uniqueness can range from a subtle something you can’t quite put a name to it, all the way to a showstopper that will have everyone staring as if you’re on the red carpet (and who knows? Maybe some of these things already walked the real red carpet! I know some of their previous owners certainly did (which would be in the description when I decide to let my two authenticated/certified with documentation Hedy Lamar early 40s pieces go in the shop after I’ve finally stared at them enough).

***Vintage items are often one of a kind, and I do everything I can to accurately describe, measure, and photograph my items. Imperfections are always described and shown to the very best of my ability. Please ask for more phots or consult with me about fit or any other concerns you may have before purchasing, and I will do all I can to help you get whatever additional information you may need to make an informed decision. I am passionate about ensuring your delight with your purchase!

Thank you so much for visiting my shop! Much more coming all the time! Please feel free to contact me if there’s anything in particular you’re looking for because I’m happy to help and might already have it. I love being a part of finding a happy home for these lovely things.

Best,
